Complex component geometries subject to wear can be actually laser-hardened reliably, extremely locally and with defined heat input. Thanks to its efficiency, this process has gained growing importance in the field of drive engineering and many other industries.
In close co-operation with Scansonic, SITEC has developed an intelligent laserhardening optics for optimal machining of 3D contours. The laser-hardening optics can be used for a laser power of up to 6 kW irrespectively of laser source.
An integrated beam-shaping module ensures a uniform laser-power distribution over the entire hardening process. In combination with a CNC swivel optics and integrated pyrometer for process monitoring, 3D contours can be particularly hardened flexibly and reliably.
Using the new motor-powered swivelling hardening optics, customer-specific demands regarding complex component geometries can be individually implemented with appropriate laser-beam source. In association with the LSseries, extremely compact, universally applicable and automatable complete systems are possible for laser-hardening. Integrated quick-change systems of utmost precision ensure reproducible upgrade of already existent welding and cutting optics.
Right from the outset, SITEC regards itself as turnkey-solution partner from technological development up to construction of demand-specific laser-hardening lines. As an alternative to plan investment, SITEC offers laser-hardening and other processes such as laser-welding, laser-hardening and laser-structuring as series production according to ISO TS 16949.
