PicoLAS is Europe's number one for high-speed seeding of fibre lasers (400 ps up to cw). PicoLAS R&D team also develops customized drivers in close cooperation with their customers.

PicoLAS develops state-of-the-art compact and efficient drivers for laser diodes, LEDs and other applications. The fanless design with purely cooling the driver through an isolated baseplate is world unique. cw, qcw and drivers for extremely short current pulses ( >600 A) are available of the shelf.
PicoLAS also offers the worlds fastest analogue modulated driver for fiber laser seeding applications – the BFS-VRM 03.
The OEM current sources cover pulse durations of PicoLAS offers protective systems (Stackprotector) on most of their drivers. Their R&D team also develops customized drivers in close cooperation with their customers.
BFS-VRM 03 HP / LP
The BFS-VRM 03 is one of the worlds fastest analogue modulated driver for seed applications, DVD-Disk mastering, printing applications, etc. With an output current from zero to 2.5 A it delivers enough power to overdrive single mode diodes for short pulses. The pulse widths span from 1 ns to cw is continuously addressable via analogue input signal. This wide span is world unique. Of course there are protective features and the driver is base plate cooled like all other drivers from PicoLAS.
LDP-CW 90-10-S50 ( or -S45; or -S100)
The LDP-CW 90-10 is a very affordable,compact and efficient current supply for output power up to 1kW. The capability ranges from continuous output current to analogue modulated waveforms like sinusoidal, rectangular or triangular. The modulation is limited by the load inductance.The innovative current regulation concept of the LDP-CW 90-10 produces,compared to linear regulations concept,considerably less losses. Hence only one supply voltage is needed for the control logic and the power stage.
The LDP-CWAC is always the best choice for high-power qcw and cw laser applications.
Whenever the required parameters are within the maximum current (130 A) or the maximum voltage (42 V) and below 1.4 kW / 700 W (depending on model) this unit fits in customers demandings.
